Relatives of a child who suffered life-threatening wounds after being thrown from the 10th floor of London's museum have revealed their "courageous fighter" has accomplished his goal of being able to swim, run, and jump again.

The French child was aged six when he was pushed off a ledge by a adolescent, then 17 years old.

The child, who was on holiday with the family in August 2019 when assaulted, lived through a 98-foot fall but received permanent harm, including a cranial bleeding and fractures.

Relatives shared in an progress report on a crowdfunding page, they were happy that he had been able to improve with his running, jumping and swimming before his forthcoming surgery.

"He can't do it like youngsters at his age, naturally, but we can no longer explain his actions in different terms than by calling it's swimming, running, and jumping."

The child, who passed months in critical care, has persisted to gain cognitive endurance.

Following a trial at the central criminal court, the teenager was found guilty of attempted murder and was incarcerated in 2020 for a minimum of 15 years.
